About
About

Andy Robinson,
CrGWP

Hi,
I'm Andy, the face behind J&A Photography.
Based in the beautiful South West of England (Barnstaple, North Devon) I've been photographing weddings, portraits and commercial projects professionally for over thirteen years  - and still absolutely love doing so !

With many other excellent wedding photographers around, why would you choose me?  Well, I love what I do and am considered to be very good at it!  Your wedding should be the best day of your life and having an experienced wedding photographer capture it  will help you to concentrate on just enjoying the day - your photos will be in safe hands, ready for you to re-live those memories again and again.

My style of photography: The easiest way to describe my style is to call it  'assisted documentary' - I'll be capturing the essential moments of your day as they unfold in a really unobtrusive manner, but I will step in to pose you as necessary. I'll also happily organise those important family group shots and generally make sure that you're photographed in the most flattering way - my aim is to create images that you'll treasure and take delight in.  I realise that most people do need a little help to look their best in photos and I'm quite used to putting people at their ease and making things fun.

I am a member of The Guild of Photographers and one of only nineteen people to have achieved 'Craftsman' status within the Guild for my wedding photography.
Although I photograph weddings throughout the country and abroad, I do limit the number to a maximum of twenty per year. This is in order to stay fresh and enthusiastic for what will be your most important day! I love the whole process of shooting weddings - the drama and excitement of the day and finding those little details to photograph that really tell the story!

Just a couple of more things about me - I'm married with two children and two guinea pigs (Cyrano & Oreo) and have been a lifelong supporter of Leeds United, so if nothing else, deserve a degree of sympathy.

If you think that I may be the right person for your wedding then please get in contact with me via this
link or by direct email jandaphotography@icloud.com - I'd love to hear from you and your plans for the day - hopefully I'll be available and we can start the adventure!
