Andy Robinson, CrGWP
I'm Andy, the face behind J&A Photography.
Based in the beautiful South West of England (Barnstaple, North Devon) I've been photographing weddings, portraits and commercial projects professionally for over thirteen years - and still absolutely love doing so !
With many other excellent wedding photographers around, why would you choose me? Well, with incredible modesty, one reason could be, because I am very good at what I do! Your wedding should be the best day of your life and having an experienced wedding photographer capture it will help you to concentrate on just enjoying the day - your photos will be in safe hands, ready for you to re-live those memories again and again.
My style of photography: The easiest way to describe my style is to call it 'assisted documentary' - I'll be capturing the essential moments of your day as they unfold in a really unobtrusive manner, but I will step in to pose you as necessary. I'll also happily organise those important family group shots and generally make sure that you're photographed in the most flattering way - my aim is to create images that you'll treasure and take delight in. I realise that most people do need a little help to look their best in photos and I'm quite used to putting people at their ease and making things fun.
I am a member of The Guild of Photographers and one of only nineteen people to have achieved 'Craftsman' status within the Guild for my wedding photography.
Although I photograph weddings throughout the country and abroad, I do limit the number to a maximum of twenty per year. This is in order to stay fresh and enthusiastic for what will be your most important day! I love the whole process of shooting weddings - the drama and excitement of the day and finding those little details to photograph that really tell the story!
Just a couple of more things about me - I'm married with two children and two guinea pigs (Cyrano & Oreo) and have been a lifelong supporter of Leeds United, so if nothing else, deserve a degree of sympathy.
If you think that I may be the right person for your wedding then please get in contact with me via this link or by direct email firstname.lastname@example.org - I'd love to hear from you and your plans for the day - hopefully I'll be available and we can start the adventure!
